The L.A. Clippers re-signed Rodney McGruder to a three-year, $15-million deal, sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.
McGruder was picked up off waivers by the Clippers before the end of last season after he was released by the Miami Heat. The 27-year-old has yet to appear in a game for L.A. but started in 112 of 162 appearances for the Heat.
Nicknamed "The Scavenger," McGruder is a multi-positional defender who can stretch the floor from 3-point range with some consistency.
Prior to his release, McGruder averaged 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per contest.
