The Dallas Mavericks aren't currently planning on pursuing unrestricted free agent DeMarcus Cousins, league sources told 247Sports' Mike Fisher.

Furthermore, there appears to be no market for the four-time All-Star center, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

On the surface, Dallas would have appeared to be a potential landing spot given its needs in the middle.

Cousins remains the second-biggest name left in free agency after Kawhi Leonard. He played 30 games this past season for the Golden State Warriors, coming off a year-long layoff from a ruptured Achilles. He made just $5.3 million in 2018-19, signing with the Warriors for the taxpayer mid-level exception last summer.

Golden State seems to have moved on from Cousins and will reportedly sign center Willie Cauley-Stein.
