The Oklahoma City Thunder are trading forward Jerami Grant to the Denver Nuggets for a 2020 first-round pick, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The pick is top-10 protected over the next three drafts and will convert to two second-rounders if not conveyed, sources told ESPN's Zach Lowe.
This move, coupled with the Paul George deal, means the Thunder have acquired six first-round picks in the last week. The trade is also expected to save the club $39 million in salary and luxury tax.
Grant, 25, had a career season in OKC in 2018-19, averaging 13.6 points and leading the team in blocks. The Syracuse product also shot 39.2 percent from beyond the arc.
