NBA 2K may be just a video game, but Anthony Davis says players take their ratings very seriously.
The new Los Angeles Lakers star and NBA 2K20 cover athlete was asked about his peers' reactions to their ratings while at an Xbox event Tuesday.
"Players care about it a lot. It means a lot to them," Davis said, according to Ryan Ward of Clutch Points.
The initial ratings for NBA 2K20 were unveiled Monday night ahead of the game's Sept. 6 release. Davis landed at No. 7 with an overall rating of 94 and forms the highest-rated duo with LeBron James.
