Veteran NBA center Kosta Koufos signed a two-year contract with Russian team CSKA Moscow, the team announced Friday.

The reported $6-million deal will make him the highest-paid American playing in Europe, sources told Yahoo's Chris Haynes. The contract includes an NBA option if he wants to return stateside.

Koufos, 30, holds dual Greek-American citizenship. While he was born and raised in Ohio, he has played for Greece internationally. In 11 NBA seasons with five teams, he's averaged 5.7 points and five rebounds.
