Capitalism leaves no stone unturned.
A LeBron James-owned company, LBJ Trademarks LLC, filed a trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for the term "Taco Tuesday," according to files obtained by lawyer Josh Gerben.
The trademark aims to include "advertising and marketing services provided by means of indirect methods of marketing, communications, namely, social media, search engine marketing, inquiry marketing, mobile marketing, blogging and other forms of passive, shareable or viral communications channels."
James began posting Instagram stories of himself eating tacos with his family on Tuesdays this summer. The videos are usually highlighted by the 15-time All-Star shouting, "Taco Tuesday!"
