Philadelphia 76ers forward Mike Scott chose against representing the City of Brotherly Love during the Eagles' home opener Sunday, instead donning a Washington Redskins jersey - a decision that might've led to a confrontation with a Philly fan.

The Eagles supporter would seemingly regret engaging in the dispute with the 6-foot-8, 240-pound NBA veteran, as the video shows Scott dropping him to the ground. However, there's no word on how the scuffle started.

Scott was warned prior to the game that his safety would be at risk if he chose to represent Philly's longtime rivals - even if he just signed a two-year, $9.8-million deal to remain with the Sixers.

Scott was gifted a custom Eagles jersey earlier this week, clearly choosing against wearing it to show support for ex-Redskins legend Sean Taylor.
