Lowry's guest role as a "colorfully costumed Russian Petrouchka" doll will involve him firing off a cannon into the audience during the production's opening act.
The NBA-champion point guard highlights a lengthy list of guest performers that will appear during the ballet's run this year, including Canadian Paralympians Cody Caldwell and Mike Whitehead.
Toronto Maple Leafs forwards Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner appeared in the show last year.
Tickets to attend Lowry's guest performance are going for as much as $195, with prices starting at $45.
