Report: Love screamed at Cavs GM Altman after shootaround
Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kevin Love had an emotional outburst at shootaround on Saturday, directing his dissatisfaction toward general manager Koby Altman, The Athletic's Joe Vardon and Shams Charania report.
With teammates, coaches, and front-office staff present, Love reportedly screamed there's "no feel here." The Cavaliers are currently 10-24 on the season, 5.5 games back from the Eastern Conference's final playoff position.
Love, a five-time All-Star and member of Cleveland's championship-winning squad in 2016, reportedly hopes to be traded - preferably to a team in contention for a title. The trade deadline is just over a month away at 3 p.m. ET on Feb. 6.
Entering Saturday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the 31-year-old is averaging 16.6 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 37% on 3-pointers.
He's in the first season of a four-year, $120.4-million contract.
