The Dallas Mavericks reached out to Joakim Noah as they search for center depth after Dwight Powell ruptured his right Achilles Tuesday, ESPN's Tim MacMahon reports.
However, Dallas is concerned about Noah's health and is also exploring other options both overseas and in the G League, MacMahon adds.
Noah, 34, has dealt with heel and knee injuries over the last two seasons.
A former Defensive Player of the Year, Noah averaged 7.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in 42 games with the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2018-19 campaign.
In order to make room for Noah on the roster, the Mavericks would have to clear a roster spot.
