The NBA will pay tribute to Kobe and Gianna Bryant at next month's All-Star Game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo's team will wear Kobe's No. 24, while LeBron James' squad will honor Bryant's daughter, Gianna, with her No. 2, the league announced.
In addition, both teams will wear jersey patches displaying nine stars to represent the nine lives lost in Sunday's helicopter crash - including John, Keri, and Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah and Payton Chester, Christina Mauser, and Ara Zobayan.
Antetokounmpo and James are the team captains by virtue of being the leading All-Star vote recipients. They will select their squads in a draft next Thursday. The All-Star Game goes Feb. 16 in Chicago.
