Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young was ruled out for the remainder of Saturday's game against the Dallas Mavericks after leaving midway through the third quarter with a right ankle sprain, the team announced.
However, the injury is thought to be a "tweak," and Young likely won't need to undergo X-rays or an MRI, sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.
Young finished with 12 points on 4-of-13 shooting with six rebounds and a career-worst one assist in 26 minutes of action.
The recently named All-Star entered Saturday's tilt averaging 29.4 points and 9.2 assists per game, ranking fourth and second in the league, respectively.
