The Minnesota Timberwolves traded Gorgui Dieng to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for James Johnson, the team announced.
In doing so, the Timberwolves joined the Grizzlies-Heat deal involving Andre Iguodala from earlier Thursday, making it a three-team trade.
Dieng averaged 7.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in 46 games this season with Minnesota.
Johnson has registered 5.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest in 18 games with Miami. The 32-year-old's season debut was delayed after failing to meet the Heat's strict conditioning requirements out of training camp.
