Bosh 'disappointed' after not being named Hall of Fame finalist

Chris Bosh isn't happy about not being named a finalist for the 2020 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class.

"Losing bothers me. Coming up short bothers me," Bosh said in a video he posted to social media Tuesday. "It always has, since the moment I started playing basketball and it kind of bleeds over into everything that I do. So I’ll just get ahead of it so you hear this from me. I’m disappointed.”

The 11-time All-Star averaged 19.2 points and 8.5 rebounds across 13 seasons with the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat, and he won two championships with the Heat in 2012 and 2013.

Bosh holds the Raptors' franchise record for career rebounds and ranks second on the team's all-time points list behind DeMar DeRozan.

The 35-year-old's career was cut short due to a recurring blood clot condition. He last played in the NBA during the 2015-16 season.

This year's Hall of Fame inductees will be announced on April 4 during the NCAA Tournament's Final Four.
