The NBA has rescheduled the postponed Jan. 28 contest between the Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers to April 9, the league announced Friday.
The move required some scheduling gymnastics involving two other teams: The Chicago Bulls-Clippers game previously scheduled for April 8 will now be played on April 6, the Golden State Warriors-Lakers matchup originally scheduled for April 9 will be played on April 7, and the Bulls-Lakers tilt scheduled for April 7 is set for April 8.
The original Clippers-Lakers game at Staples Center was postponed in the wake of Kobe Bryant's death. The two teams also play on March 8.
Bryant and his daughter Gianna will be honored Monday in a public memorial service in Los Angeles.
