The NBA fined Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid $25,000 on Wednesday for his use of an obscene gesture and verbiage during and after Monday's win over the Atlanta Hawks.
Embiid first gave Kevin Huerter the finger after the Hawks guard stole the ball from him, and he later dropped an F-bomb in a postgame TV interview.
Embiid scored a career-high 49 points in the win, and the gesture toward Huerter appeared to be out of disappointment for ending his chance at scoring 50.
