Steph now expected to return 'at some point in March'
After weeks of buildup to a possible return on March 1 versus the Washington Wizards, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will not return from his hand injury Sunday. However, he has advanced to full scrimmages and is expected to return "at some point in March," the team announced.
Curry will practice with the Warriors' G League affiliate in Santa Cruz on Monday.
The former two-time MVP has been out of action since fracturing his left (non-shooting) hand on Oct. 30.
The Warriors' upcoming schedule presents a potential runway for Curry's return. After a road game at high altitude against the Nuggets on Tuesday, the Warriors return to San Francisco for a four-game homestand.

Though Curry's absence from the lineup for the majority of the year has all but eliminated the Warriors from the playoff race, head coach Steve Kerr said the possibility of the 31-year-old sitting out the remainder of the season has "never been a question."
"He's in the prime of his career," Kerr said earlier this month. "If the point is because he might get hurt, then what's the point of ever playing anything? People can get hurt any day.
"I guess the argument would be, 'Well, we're not going to the playoffs.' So are we not trying to entertain our fans?"
