The Golden State Warriors signed guard Chasson Randle to a 10-day contract, the team announced.
The move comes after Randle, who was under contract with the Chinese Basketball Association's Tianjin Pioneers, spent the last month in limbo with the CBA season suspended due to the coronavirus threat.
Comer told ESPN that Randle had twice attempted to sign 10-day contracts with NBA teams, but he was unable to obtain his FIBA letter of clearance from Tianjin.
"His payments are currently behind with no date provided of when he will receive salary owed," Comer said.
Randle played 75 NBA games with the Wizards, Knicks, and 76ers between 2017 and 2019, averaging 5.4 points.
