The Denver Nuggets are finalizing a deal to sign guard Troy Daniels, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Daniels started the season with the Los Angeles Lakers but was waived March 1. He became a free agent after clearing waivers Wednesday.

The 28-year-old is playing in his seventh season and has spent time with the Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Charlotte Hornets, Memphis Grizzlies, and Phoenix Suns. He signed a one-year deal with the Lakers last summer.

Daniels is averaging 6.6 points and 1.3 rebounds over his career. He's also a 39.7% shooter from beyond the arc.
