It's the start of the week, we lost a precious hour of sleep to daylight saving time, and a loaded NBA weekend is followed by just a three-game slate Monday. I'm curious what we've all done to deserve this.
Nonetheless, we'll make it work. Here are the best player props for tonight.
John Collins over 35.5 points + rebounds + assists
Collins has been on a tear lately. He's recorded at least 36 combined points, rebounds, and assists in five of his last six games. And while only a single opponent ranked in the top half of the NBA in scoring defense and the Charlotte Hornets have been one of the more underrated defensive units in basketball this season, Collins should have an edge. Charlotte allows the fourth-most points and rebounds to power forwards, as well as the sixth-most assists.
Devonte' Graham under 2.5 made threes
Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young is the sixth-worst defensive player in the league among those with at least 40 games played. But he does thrive in one specific spot, which is defending the perimeter. For as poor as Atlanta's defense is, it's allowing the fewest made threes to point guards this season. Graham has played 12 games against clubs that rank in the top five in 3-pointers allowed to point guards and converted just 29.7% of his triples in those spots.
Eric Bledsoe under 1.5 made threes
I don't love playing unders on Milwaukee Bucks players when Giannis Antetokounmpo is out, as every other starter's volume should go up. But I could get on board with this under here on Bledsoe. The veteran point guard saw an uptick in his offensive role Sunday against the Phoenix Suns, as he took 19 shots from the floor. However, he attempted just four from beyond the arc and hasn't put up more than four attempts in any of his last six games. With Monday being the second leg of a back-to-back, and the Denver Nuggets allowing the seventh-fewest made threes per game to point guards, I'm willing to take the under in this spot.
Bojan Bogdanovic over 2.5 made threes
Bogdanovic is up to 20.5 points per game this season and fresh off a 32-point performance over the Detroit Pistons. He's drained at least three triples in four of his last five games, and I can't envision the Utah Jazz sharpshooter slowing down against a Toronto Raptors defense that allows the most threes per game to small forwards.
