Wednesday's game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz was called off just before tipoff after Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.
"The test result was reported shortly prior to the tipoff of tonight's game," the NBA said in a statement. "The affected player was not in the arena."
Players were already on the court in Oklahoma City warming up when officials told both teams to retreat to their respective locker rooms, where they were quarantined.
