Report: Karnisovas narrows down list of Bulls' GM candidates
A number of candidates for the Chicago Bulls' general manager position have emerged.
Arturas Karnisovas - the Bulls' reported new executive vice president of basketball operations who previously served as general manager of the Denver Nuggets - is planning interviews with four current assistant general managers, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The list is headlined by Calvin Booth from the Nuggets, Philadelphia 76ers executive Marc Eversley, the Los Angeles Clippers' Mark Hughes, and Orlando Magic executive Matt Lloyd.
Booth, who worked in the Minnesota Timberwolves' front office for four seasons before being hired by Denver in 2017, is also being considered as Karnisovas' replacement for the general manager position in Denver, Wojnarowski reports.
Earlier Friday, Karnisovas reportedly made his first move since joining Chicago's front office by hiring New Orleans Pelicans executive JJ Polk as an assistant general manager.
