Details have come to light regarding the NBA's plan for a potential resumption of the 2019-20 season.
"What they're (the NBA) looking at is a 25-day return-to-basketball window," ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported during "SportsCenter" on Sunday.
The plan would reportedly be broken up into two parts, with the first 11 days devoted to individual workouts while practicing social distancing. If the league is then able to get clearance for five-on-five basketball, a 14-day training camp would commence before actual games are played.
It was recently reported that NBA training staff and general managers felt players would need at least one month to physically prepare for a return to game action.
The league instructed teams to close their training facilities on March 19, which came eight days after the indefinite hiatus began.
