Dinwiddie: Jordan had 'best prime,' Kareem 'is the basketball GOAT'

With "The Last Dance" continuing to remind basketball fans of Michael Jordan's dominance throughout the 1990s, Spencer Dinwiddie couldn't help but weigh in on who he feels belongs in the conversation about the greatest player of all time.

"I definitely think MJ had the best prime NBA years of all time. And that Kareem (Abdul-Jabbar) is the basketball GOAT," the Brooklyn Nets point guard tweeted.

Dinwiddie backed up his choice of Abdul-Jabbar in a follow-up tweet by referencing the Hall of Fame center's longevity, unstoppable skyhook, spot as the NBA's all-time leading scorer, and his combined nine championships in the NCAA and NBA.

When it comes to LeBron James' place in the debate, Dinwiddie opted to instead call the three-time champion the greatest athlete in NBA history.

James himself has gone on record in the past to say his performance during the 2016 NBA Finals made him the greatest player of all time.
