The Brooklyn Nets are set to open their training facility for voluntary player workouts Tuesday, the team announced in a statement obtained by The New York Times' Marc Stein.
The announcement comes hours after New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said teams based in the state are now permitted to begin training camps.
The New York Knicks, meanwhile, are one of 10 NBA teams that have yet to announce plans to reopen their training facilities, according to Stein.
New York has been one of the most severely impacted areas in the U.S. amid the coronavirus pandemic. As of Sunday, there have been more than 29,000 deaths within the state caused by COVID-19, according to Johns Hopkins University.
