David Nwaba has signed with the Houston Rockets, the team announced Tuesday.
The Rockets waived Isaiah Hartenstein in a subsequent move.
Nwaba's contract runs for two seasons and includes a team option for the 2020-21 campaign, The Athletic's Shams Charania reports. He'll earn over $900,000 for the remainder of the 2019-20 season, Charania adds.
The Brooklyn Nets waived the 27-year-old earlier this season after he suffered a torn Achilles tendon in mid-December.
Nwaba - who averaged 5.2 points on 42.9% shooting from long range in 20 games this season - reportedly won't play when the NBA resumes its campaign next month, and will instead continue rehabbing his Achilles injury.
