The Oklahoma City Thunder have converted the two-way contract of wing Luguentz Dort into a standard multi-year deal, the team announced.
The move was expected before the NBA suspended play in March.
An undrafted free agent last summer, Dort started 21 of 29 games for the Thunder, averaging 6.2 points. Under CBA rules, players on two-way deals can only spend 45 days per season with an NBA team.
Under new regulations in the wake of the league's anticipated restart, a team that converts a two-way contract to a standard deal can replace that player with another two-way substitute.
Dort's deal is worth $5.4 million over four seasons, The New York Times' Marc Stein reports.
