Kings' Parker, Len confirm positive COVID-19 tests; Hield reportedly positive
Multiple Sacramento Kings players have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Jabari Parker announced Wednesday that he tested positive, while Sacramento big man Alex Len later confirmed he also had test results come back positive. Guard Buddy Hield has also reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Parker and Len both stated they intend to rejoin the Kings when medically cleared to do so. Hield will remain self-isolated in Sacramento and said he'll also be ready to play in Orlando, according to TrueHoop's Leo Beas.
The Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic, Malcolm Brogdon of the Indiana Pacers, and two unnamed Phoenix Suns players round out the other players around the NBA who have tested positive.
Players, executives, and some within the league office have reportedly voiced concerns about returning to play at Walt Disney World in Orlando as the state of Florida experiences a spike in coronavirus cases.
As of Wednesday night, 13,865 people in Florida have been hospitalized due to the coronavirus, according to Johns Hopkins University.
