Silver: NBA broadcasts to feature new camera angles, fan perks
Watching NBA games is about to look a whole lot different for fans at home once the season resumes in Orlando next month.
Commissioner Adam Silver says the league's broadcasts from Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando will feature "unique, never before seen camera angles" during games, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe.
Further, virtual concerts and halftime performances will be held in the league's bubble, ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reports.
Another interesting wrinkle will involve integrating fans into the action. Through tap-to-cheer programs, spectators will be able to light up seats in arenas from afar while watching games from the comfort of their homes, Shelburne adds.
In terms of how play-by-play and color commentating will take place within the league's Disney "bubble" setup, TNT's Kevin Harlan acknowledged earlier this month that on-air talent will broadcast from remote locations until at least the conference finals, which are set to begin in September.
