Lakers will give Bradley a ring if they win title
The Los Angeles Lakers plan to give Avery Bradley a championship ring if they win the NBA title this summer.
"Yes, (general manager) Rob Pelinka made me aware of the Lakers offering me a ring if they win the championship," Bradley told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes on Tuesday. "It's a very kind gesture on their part."
Bradley recently opted out of the league's resumption, citing concerns over the health of his family.
The guard was an integral piece for the Lakers this season, averaging 8.6 points on 36.4% shooting from long range in 49 games.
Los Angeles is currently the betting favorite to take home the Larry O'Brien Trophy with +200 odds.
If the Lakers win it all, Bradley's still unsure whether he'd take the team up on its offer.
"Will I accept the ring? I'm neither here nor there about it. I am 10 years in this league. The physical possession of a ring doesn't make me feel like more or less of a person," Bradley said. "I play basketball strictly for enjoyment and to add to the support of my family. Supporting them is exactly what I'm doing right now."
