Draymond, Barkley teaming up on TNT storytelling series
Draymond Green and Charles Barkley are putting their differences aside for a new storytelling series titled "The Arena," Turner Sports announced Tuesday.
The five-part series will focus on cinematic features about the COVID-19 pandemic, Black Lives Matter, systemic racial injustices, and how the societal landscape has changed since the NBA season was put on hold. The features will be bookended by a panel discussion between host Cari Champion, Dwyane Wade, Green, and Barkley.
Green has received multiple jabs from Barkley over the years, which he chalked up to "jealousy."
Their feud was reignited in March when Green took issue with the Hall of Famer's on-air criticisms and threatened to take his job. Barkley responded by joking that Green "don't have a face for TV."
The first episode of "The Arena" premieres July 20 at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
