Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis will have his injured eye re-evaluated but plans to play in Thursday's restart opener versus the Los Angeles Clippers, he said after practice on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps.
Davis was poked in the eye during Saturday's scrimmage against the Orlando Magic. The seven-time All-Star's availability was thrown into question after Lakers coach Frank Vogel labeled him day-to-day after missing Tuesday's practice.
However, Davis returned to practice Wednesday.

David tried out protective eyewear Wednesday but doesn't believe he'll need it on Thursday, according to Bontemps.
