Nets' Vaughn: Crawford to miss at least 'a few games' with hamstring strain

Guard Jamal Crawford will at least miss 'a few games' after suffering a hamstring strain on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets interim head coach Jacque Vaughn said Wednesday, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell.

Crawford was making his debut for the Nets after signing with the club during the season's stoppage. However, he left the game early in the second quarter and did not return.

Upon entering the contest, Crawford - who hadn't played in an NBA game since April 2019 - immediately became the oldest player participating in the season's restart at the age of 40. Former Atlanta Hawks swingman Vince Carter is the only player older than Crawford to play at all this season. Carter retired from the NBA in June.

Crawford recorded five points and three assists in six minutes Tuesday. The Nets held on to defeat the Bucks despite his injury.
