Lillard releasing Kobe tribute track for NBA 2K21
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard has teamed up with Snoop Dogg on a new Kobe Bryant-inspired track.
The song, which also features Derrick Milano, will be released Sept. 4 as part of the new in-game soundtrack for NBA 2K21. Lillard shared a snippet of it Monday on Twitter.
When I found out I was gonna be on the @NBA2K cover the same year Kobe was on the legends cover, I decided use my access to the 2K soundtrack to pay tribute to Kobe through music.

It was revealed last month that the NBA 2K21 soundtrack would include two previously unreleased songs from Lillard, one of the game's three cover stars.
Lillard exited Monday's Game 4 against the Los Angeles Lakers in the third quarter after injuring his right knee. Results of the initial MRI were reportedly inconclusive.
