Report: James had change of heart regarding resumption of playoffs

There was a change in position from Wednesday to Thursday with LeBron James and others, relaying it was in the players' best interest to finish the NBA playoffs, sources told Yahoo's Chris Haynes.

Players reportedly decided at a Thursday morning meeting to resume the season after the Milwaukee Bucks' protest led to the postponement of Wednesday's three playoff contests.

Thursday's games have also reportedly been postponed.

James, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Los Angeles Clippers reportedly voted Wednesday night to not complete the playoffs. However, key members of the Lakers and others met overnight to discuss options further, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Frustration at Wednesday's meeting stemmed from players not being on the same page and emotions getting the best of some, a source told Haynes.

One unidentified player lauded the leadership of NBPA president Chris Paul and vice president Andre Iguodala on Thursday. "CP3 and Andre Igoudala did a great job of leading the meeting, a great job," the player told Stadium's Jeff Goodman.

Players and team owners will reportedly meet later Thursday to discuss a further plan of action regarding social justice issues, sources told Wojnarowski.
