Russell Westbrook "looked as explosive as ever" in a Houston Rockets scrimmage Thursday, a source told ESPN's Tim MacMahon. He will play in Game 5 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, sources told The Athletic's Kelly Iko, although it is not yet confirmed when that game will be played.
The scrimmage was reportedly Westbrook's first 5-on-5 practice since suffering a right quad strain during seeding games in Orlando. He last played Aug. 11.
Westbrook was listed as questionable for Game 5 on Wednesday before all contests were postponed in the wake of NBA players' social justice protest. The series is tied 2-2.
Westbrook's 27.2 points per game this season is the third-highest mark of his 12-year career.
