NBA officials left their mark on Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Wednesday.

The Miami Heat completed their 116-114 win - and earned a 2-0 series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks - after Giannis Antetokounmpo was called for a questionable foul on Jimmy Butler as he released a long 2-point shot with the game tied as regulation ended.

Because Butler let his shot go before the buzzer, he went to the charity stripe with no players on the lane lines. He sunk both attempts.

Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer stopped short of criticizing the referees postgame.

"I'd say we're disappointed with the judgment, the decision, the timing," he said, according to The Washington Post's Ben Golliver. "It's a tough job. I have a lot of respect for the officials. We have our way of seeing things. We're going to disagree."

Moments earlier, the Bucks had tied the game when Khris Middleton hit three free throws - the result of a foul call on Goran Dragic for crowding Middleton's landing space as he attempted a 3-point shot.
