Be honest: If you were watching Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals between the Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics live Thursday, the final result seemed assured when Celtics center Daniel Theis flushed a go-ahead dunk with 0.5 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

One local news station didn't get the memo that Raptors wing OG Anunoby had other plans, resulting in a dramatic correction live from the scene of an outdoor watch party:

CP24 anchor Cristina Tenaglia presumably was not watching the game in real time and was only passing along information given to her by her producers.

Still, announcing that the Raptors had lost Game 3 only to have Anunoby render the news incorrect made for pretty darn good live television.

Raptors fan Carlos not only patiently answered field reporter Beatrice Vaisman's questions ahead of the final possession, but he also continued to hold out hope for yet another Raptors postseason miracle.

"Yeah. Everything will happen, you know?" he said from the window of his car. "This is the NBA. Yeah, I have seen crazy things in less than one second."
