Playoff Rondo has been activated.
Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo came off the bench for Friday's Game 1 matchup against the Houston Rockets.
Rondo hadn't played a game since before the NBA hiatus began March 11. He suffered a right thumb fracture during pre-bubble training camp and has since been sidelined by back spasms.
The 34-year-old averaged 7.1 points and five assists in 48 games this season. Rondo has averaged 14 points and 9.3 assists in 105 postseason contests, both better than his career regular-season stats.
