L2M report: Bucks got away with 2 fouls in last minutes of regulation
The game officials missed a pair of fouls that would have favored the Miami Heat late in their 118-115 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, the league's last-two-minute report confirms.
First, Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe got away with contact on Heat All-Star Jimmy Butler with 1:47 left in the fourth quarter.
Even more impactful was a missed call against Milwaukee's George Hill with under a minute to go. The league says Hill should've been called for a shooting foul on Butler's running 2-point attempt with 24.2 left in regulation and the Heat leading 107-106.
Instead of going to the line for a chance to make it a three-point game, Butler air-balled his shot directly into the hands of the Bucks' Khris Middleton. Milwaukee proceeded to force overtime and emerge victorious, narrowly avoiding a series sweep.
