Bosh: LeBron was at his peak with Heat
Chris Bosh believes LeBron James was at his best when he was playing for the Miami Heat.
Bosh made the case for why the Heat version of LeBron should be considered "peak LeBron" during a recent appearance on "The Old Man and The Three" podcast with New Orleans Pelicans guard JJ Redick.
"He's transformed so many times, but I feel that second year, yeah, I think he was on another planet," Bosh said of his former teammate. "And it got to the point where we just kind of - I'm a pretty good basketball player, but I'm kind of just watching him do his thing right now 'cause I don't know what the hell is going on. ...
"He was very, very motivated to be successful, and I think us as a unit, the way we played the game, it allowed him to be successful," Bosh continued. "Then I think he was able to play off the ball a lot. I think once he went to Cleveland, he had the ball in his hands more, and he was asked to do more - still the case in L.A., and I don't know how he keeps up with it."
James spent four seasons with the Heat, leading the team to back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013 and winning two Finals MVP awards. He's currently in pursuit of his fourth NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers.
