Lillard, McCollum rip Clippers after shocking Game 7 collapse
Perhaps no one enjoyed watching the Los Angeles Clippers come up short in Game 7 against the Denver Nuggets than Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum.
As the seconds counted down on the Clippers' stunning second-round elimination, the Portland Trail Blazers guards took to Twitter, where they relentlessly chirped the losing squad.

If they fly private they can get into Mexico for sure. Should probably get the big jet.

Late in the fourth quarter, Paul George badly missed a 3-point attempt that clanked off the backboard. One fan asked Lillard to assess the errant heave and the Blazers star made a subtle reference to George's "That's a bad shot" remark regarding Lillard's long-range basket in 2019 that eliminated George and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Lillard's review didn't disappoint.
Yo @Dame_Lillard this a good shot?! https://t.co/snxbURaPQz

Lillard also took direct aim at Patrick Beverley, who mocked Lillard during a seeding game on Aug. 8 and then suggested he was headed for an early vacation in Cancun. McCollum also got in a few jabs.
@patbev21 I guess I should extend this Cancun invite since I havenโt made my arrangements yet ๐๐๐

Not even Clippers owner Steve Ballmer was safe from scrutiny.

Finally, McCollum capped off the teasing for the night.
My last tweet before I finish this glass. They did vote they ainโt wanna play no more. . . But I didnโt think they was gonna go out like that ๐
