With the No. 25 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves have selected Kentucky guard Immanuel Quickley, who reportedly will be traded to the New York Knicks, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The sophomore led last year's Wildcats team in scoring with 16.1 points per game in addition to 4.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists. Quickley's scoring profile has a unique quality: His shooting was actually better from beyond the college 3-point line (42.8%) than on two-pointers (40.9%) for an overall field goal percentage of 41.7%.
The SEC's coaches voted Quickley one of three Co-Players of the Year in 2019-20.
