Heat's Leonard: Butler 'completely destroyed' bad teammate narrative
Miami Heat center Meyers Leonard is setting the record straight about Jimmy Butler.
While discussing Butler's Big Face Coffee shop during a recent appearance on Yahoo Sports' "The Rush," Leonard took the opportunity to dismiss the idea that Butler isn't a good teammate.
"The thing about Jimmy is, first of all, he obviously completely destroyed any and all narratives about him being an asshole and a bad teammate," Leonard said. "Let me tell you something. I've been in the league eight years. That's a good dude right there, and a good teammate by the way, like, really cares about people.
"JB's coffee is good, man. Anything that he's going to put his name behind, he's gonna take and do with immense pride."
Butler opened Big Face Coffee inside the NBA's Orlando bubble, selling lattes, pour overs, cappuccinos, and more from his hotel room at $20 per cup. He filed a trademark for the business in September.
