Mason Plumlee is signing a three-year, $25-million contract with the Detroit Pistons, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 30-year-old center backed up Nikola Jokic in the Denver Nuggets' frontcourt rotation last season and averaged 7.2 points and 5.2 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per game across 61 appearances.
Plumlee is coming off a three-year, $41-million deal signed with the Nuggets back in 2017 and should have a path to consistent minutes with the Pistons' given their current lack of frontcourt depth. He'll be competing with Jahlil Okafor for playing time, who reportedly signed a two-year deal with Detroit shortly after Plumlee.
