Suns re-sign Saric on 3-year, $27M deal

The Phoenix Suns and forward Dario Saric agreed to a new three-year, $27-million deal, Saric's agents told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Phoenix initially acquired Saric prior to the 2019-20 season in a trade with the Minnnesota Timberwolves. The 26-year-old carved out an important frontcourt role on the Suns, splitting time at the four and five while registering 10.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and shooting 35.7% from three.

He was instrumental in the club's perfect 8-0 run in the bubble, hitting 52.4% of his 2.6 3-point attempts per contest and upping his averages to 14.6 points, 7.9 boards, and 1.6 assists.

Saric was a restricted free agent this offseason, which would have allowed the Suns to match any outside offers for the Croatian.
