Kawhi Leonard says there's no truth to the odd story about him bringing a bag of apples to a San Antonio Spurs team dinner.
According to the story, which surfaced on Twitter last year, Leonard pulled out a dozen apples and ate them all with a knife and fork after telling head coach Gregg Popovich, "Apple time, apple time."
Leonard denied the story Wednesday on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
"Who came up with that story right there? ... I do have an apple tree, but I didn't pick my apples and bring them to dinner," the Los Angeles Clippers star said.
Leonard also spoke to Kimmel about his latest New Balance sneaker and his decision to join the Clippers during his appearance.
