The NBA fined Washington Wizards center Thomas Bryant $45,000 for repeatedly making inappropriate contact with an official during Thursday's game against the Detroit Pistons, the league announced.
After Blake Griffin threw him to the ground in the third quarter, Bryant angrily tried to approach Griffin but was restrained by teammates and referee Jonathan Sterling. However, Bryant then tried to shove Sterling out of the way multiple times, earning him a technical foul before teammates eventually pulled him away.
