Longtime NBA veteran Lance Stephenson and Michael Beasley agreed to G League contracts and will be available for selection in Monday's draft, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Both players last appeared in NBA games with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2018-19 season. Stephenson, now 30, averaged 7.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 16.5 minutes per game, while Beasley, 31, put up seven points, 2.3 rebounds, and one assist in just under 11 minutes per appearance.
Beasley signed with the Brooklyn Nets prior to the restart of the 2019-20 season at the Disney World bubble in July. However, the former No. 2 pick ultimately didn't appear for the team after testing positive for COVID-19.
