Warriors' Looney out at least 2 weeks with ankle sprain

Golden State Warriors center Kevon Looney will have his left ankle sprain re-evaluated in two weeks, the team announced Wednesday.

Looney suffered the injury during Tuesday's loss to the Boston Celtics.

The sixth-year big man has averaged 3.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in just under 15 minutes per game this season, starting five of his 21 appearances to date.

Losing Looney, coupled with a wrist injury to second overall pick James Wiseman, has left the Warriors' center rotation looking sparse. Power forwards Marquese Chriss and Alen Smailagic are out as well, leaving 6-foot-7 small forwards Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr. as the tallest active players on the roster.
